I have to keep track of so many passwords these days.. at least for a hundred different systems. It would be almost impossible to keep them all in my head. So I store them in a password safe on my notebook. But the problem is I don't bring my notebook everywhere. So happens there comes a time when you need to track whos been adding what to your documents, and how to revert back to last Mondays copy of a document. What you need is a software to manage the versions and track the changes done by whomever. What you need is a tool called subversion. Windows Vista being new has many issues. One of the biggest issues is the failure to get ipaddress from DHCP due to Vistas new DHCP implementation. Since editing the registry and determining the adapter through GUID to apply the registry hack to fix the problem can be a pain for some.
